Beginner+ Pilates Movement Videos
These videos are for beginners who have learnt some of the basic Pilates mat vocabulary and would like to continue learning more. Props you may need include a towel, a chair, hand weights (or canned goods), a band and/or pillow. Please avoid exercises if feeling pain or discomfort.
- Never hold your breath when exercising
- Stop an exercise if you feel pain
- Invest in the proper clothing and props to exercise
Now that you are familiar with the Pilates exercise vocabulary, let’s add some simple props to our class. Listen to the cues given and of course your body and enjoy a different way of moving!
It’s time to strengthen the arms and legs! This mini class takes you through exercises to keep your body strong…if you don’t have weights, just use some canned soup!
